I have been a little pre-occupied lately with family and my 'other' job, but I am going to make a commitment to more regular updates. My Special Bag is also now on Facebook, so you can also see regular updates there.

I love to travel. I travelled the world as often as I could before I had Children, but since having my three Kids, travelling has become a lot more challenging. Other than a trip to the Cook Islands, a relaxing week on Daydream Island and Christmas with family in Sydney, most of our escapes are now shorter and more local.

I love a road trip and late last year my Husband had to work in Yepoon, so we thought that we would all go for the ride. We stayed at Hervey Bay and Agnes Waters on the way up, but managed to drive the whole way home in one day. The weather wasn't great. it was just before the rain that caused the flood, but the Kids had a great time and my Son was particularly interested in the Town of 1770 where Captain Cook landed on the Endeavour in May 1770. Here are a couple of photos from the trip.

My Ballet Girls

Posted by Picasa

This photo was taken just before our Ballet concert last week. My youngest is only two years old, and loves dancing so much that I had to let her join in her Sister's Ballet class. The girls were so cute and I was so proud of them that I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Today was the last day for the year that I had to make my Son's lunch for school. Here is a photo of today's lunch in his Camouflage pattern lunch bag. It is surprising how much you can fit in this 24cm x 24cm bag. I also put a frozen drink or ice brick in it to keep his lunch cool. My Son is six years old and his school bag seems to be so big and heavy for him to carry. His fabric lunch bag is much lighter than a large plastic lunch box, so it makes his bag easier for him to carry.
